Features and benefits

Akoline GC releases citric acid by hydrolysis on skin contact which helps supplement the NMF (Natural Moisturising Factor). It is capable of forming liquid crystals if used together with non-ionic emulsifiers such as mono/diglycerides, polyglycerol esters or ethoxylated fatty alcohols, making it a good emulsion stabiliser and consistency improver.
