Akoline PG7™

Akoline PG 7 is a non-ionic, polyglycerol ester emulsifier made from edible, saturated vegetable fatty acids and is oxidative and heat stable. The polyglycerol moiety is primarily comprised of di-, tri- and tetra-glycerol and the main fatty acids are C16 and C18. Akoline PG 7 creates soft, fluid emulsions and is particularly suitable for cosmetic lotions and balms.

Features and benefits


Akoline PG7 forms stabilizing liquid crystals which means you can create smooth, glossy-looking formulations with good spreadability. It has broad emollient compatibility making it suitable for use as a primary emulsifier for vegetable oils and esters, as well as mineral oils, silicones, and petrolatum.
