Lipex SheaClear is a low-spreading oil that offers all the skin-softening and soothing benefits of shea butter in an easy-to-use, clear liquid form. Made from Made from FairWild™ certified mass balance shea kernels, it is suitable for low energy processing and for formulating all types of transparent and translucent cosmetic oil applications.
Features and benefits
- Lipex SheaClear is made from FairWild™ certified mass balance shea kernels. This means certified kernels from the Kolo Nafaso direct sourcing program are mixed with non-certified kernels during processing. A mass balance model allows customers to support the program without limiting supply chain requirements.
- Clarity at room temperature makes Lipex SheaClear ideal for skin, hair, and face oils where transparency or minimal color is desired. Studies show that in most cases, up to 25% can be incorporated while maintaining clarity at temperatures of 15°C and above.
- The liquid, pumpable format results in more efficient production. Lipex SheaClear can be incorporated easily into formulations, and is suitable for cold or low energy processing, leading to energy and time savings. However, if stored in cold conditions, slight heating may be required to remove precipitation.
