Comparative formulations
We have created two comparative formulation to show the different consistency and texture achieved when switching between a solid and a liquid shea butter in a water-in-oil formulation.
The pictures below showcase two simple water-in-oil emulsions that have been formulated identically, with the only difference being whether a solid or a liquid shea is used as the only emollient in the oil phase. The purpose of this comparison is to showcase how liquid shea can enable formulating more fluid, lighter formulations that those associated traditionally with shea butter. By doing so, the benefits associated with shea butter on skin, people and planet, can be brough into applications and products where they have not been used before, or they have been used to a much limited extend.
